My name is Mabel Davis. My husband, Wallace, and I bought Terry’s
Designs in January of 2008. The previous owner stayed with me for
approximately 4 months teaching me how to operate the machines and to
digitize the designs. In late spring of that year we welcomed Lady’s
Coins to the store. We embroider and sell collectible coins under one
roof.
My husband and I are both retired
educators. I taught sixth grade, was a K-12 Counselor, K-12 Principal,
Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent before retiring four years
ago. Wallace taught 7-12 Math classes in public school systems before
retiring in December of 2009 from the Missouri State University in
Springfield, Missouri.
I am a Board Member of the Pomme de Terre
Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, President of the HICMO Coin Club and
member of several other organizations. Wallace is an active member of
the Masons, and the Pomme de Terre Shrine
Club.
We began collecting
coins over forty years ago and have quite a nice selection of
coins, coin sets, tokens, new and used collecting supplies along with
some currency for sell. We also assess coin collections for private
collectors interested in knowing the value of their coins.
Please feel free to call or visit our
store for your embroidery needs as well as your coin collection desires.
Visitors are welcome to drop in any time.
Our store hours are Tuesday through Friday
from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We welcome
appointments for other hours as needed.
